Karden Investments LLC is a privately-held limited liability company located in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.  Karden owns 55-Alive!, RVListingsOnline.com LLC, and Retirement Communities Online LLC.  The Karden operating companies are each targeted toward serving the “baby boomer” generation, retirees, and active seniors.   These groups collectively compromise approximately 76 million Americans.

Karden Investments considers investment opportunities that provide synergistic value to its existing companies, and that are geared toward its targeted audience.

Unlike previous generations, the lives of most of today’s seniors and retirees will be anything but sedentary.   Instead, activities such as travel, recreation, education, and volunteering are expected to occupy much of their time.  

Many “retirees” will also work during much of their “retirement”; either because they want to or because they need to.

Similarly, the Baby Boomer generation is also re-defining retirement with a focus on more active lifestyles.   The “active retirement” is reflected in a number of ways, including:

Ø      Increase in demand for retirement communities, especially those offering recreational and social amenities

Ø      Greater participation in physical fitness activities and senior sports events,

Ø      Increase in the number of 50+ adults taking educational courses, and

Ø      Increase in the amount of travel through RVing, group tours, and individual travel.
